What is zwissCLEAN ® protected by Living Guard?
zwissCLEAN® protected by Livinguard textiles actively and highly effectively eliminate viruses and bacteria and can be used for a wide range of applications, from medicine to clothing and interior design to automobiles.

How does zwissCLEAN® protected by Livinguard work?
The textile is finished with an environmentally friendly formula that contains no harmful substances such as silver, zinc or other heavy metals. Rather, it physically disrupts the cell membrane of viruses and bacteria. The mechanism is based on the negatively charged compounds of the cell walls of all microorganisms. zwissCLEAN® protected by Livinguard materials are endowed with a positive charge. This attracts microbes and destroys their cell walls. Thus, no development of resistance is possible and the effect lasts for the entire lifetime of the equipped material.

Our antiviral and antibacterial zwissCLEAN GLOVES protect you whenever you need protection: Whether you're shopping, at the gym or on the train. The lightweight material allows the skin to breathe even when worn for long periods of time, preventing sweat from forming. The zwissCLEAN GLOVES are available in sizes XS/S and M/L, making them suitable for everyone. They can be washed up to 30 times at 40 degrees gentle wash. Thus, they replace up to 210 disposable gloves. The material is also 100 percent recyclable.

zwissCLEAN Mask Basic
Our zwissCLEAN MASK BASIC is characterized by its breathability in addition to its antimicrobial effect. It can thus be worn for up to 12 hours without any problems, even sleeping is possible.
The zwissCLEAN MASK BASIC can be washed up to 10 times at 30 degrees. It is also 100 percent recyclable, as it is made exclusively of polyamide (PA). A variably trimmable ear flap allows the size to be individually adjusted to your needs.

Product sustainability
Washing 1 kilogram of textiles usually requires 7 liters of water and 22 grams of detergent. Textile and clothing items are used on average 30 times and washed after each use.
With zwissCLEAN textiles, the washing frequency can be reduced from 30 to 5 times. Detergent is not needed.
As a result, the global water savings potential is 70 billion liters per day.
This is equivalent to twice the world's daily drinking water requirements. It could also reduce the need for environmentally harmful cleaning agents by 330,000 metric tons a day. This results in a high avoidance potential of microplastics.
